Eden House recently opened its doors to the local community as the home took part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s annual Coffee Morning.

Guests, residents and staff enjoyed tasty home-cooked goodies baked by the staff of Eden House. There was a prize for ‘Best Cake’ and the contestants were… chocolate cake, coffee cake, Victoria sponge cake, lemon cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes.

The winner was *drum roll please* Carole with her Chocolate cake.

 

Carole won a set of stackable cake tins. Congratulations! 

Thank you to all those who supported us on the day and to Kim, Lisa and Meganne for setting up this event. We raised £46.49 for a fabulous charity.
