Care Home Open Day, which is taking place on 28th June, is a UK wide initiative that aims to connect care homes to their local communities, bust the myths and misconceptions of care, and exhibit the excellent care services that are on offer in the heart of local communities.

We often hold community days such as summer fetes and coffee mornings, and visitors are always welcome. Participating in Care Home Open Day this year means we have the opportunity to make an impact to the outside world by challenging stereotypical views of care homes, as well as to showcase the wonderful work that we do and display how much we really do care.

The theme this year is to celebrate ‘Arts in Care’ and as such, our homes will be providing an array of activities for you to get involved with. We will also be welcoming in some special guests!

Refreshments, cake and biscuits will be available, free of charge, throughout the day and you will have the chance to meet our fabulous residents and hard-working care team. Tours of the homes will be available upon request.
