We currently have an opportunity for someone with a genuine passion in care to join our team in Southsea. As a care assistant you will work as part of a team, assisting the Head of Care with all aspects of care within the home. You will provide high quality care to residents ensuring their individual needs are met, while adhering to company policy at all times. You will be involved with some of the activities provided by the home, as well as support residents at meal times.

The role

For this role the ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about person-centre care
  • Have great communication skills
  • Be highly motivated
  • Be a team player
  • Show a genuine interest in those whom they are caring for

We are looking for someone who is genuine and compassionate, regardless of how much experience they have. Relevant qualifications would be advantageous, but are not essential as there is potential for the right person to receive NVQ training.

There are full and part-time positions available, with some weekend work.

Do you have a passion for home cooked food?

Are you a Chef looking for a new role?

As Chef you will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of food service within the home. You will work closely with the care team ensuring the highest standards are achieved at all times, catering to the individual needs of our residents.

What experience do you need?

Ideally, you’ll have a background with experience in a kitchen environment and have good health and safety knowledge. Relevant qualifications would be advantageous but full training will be provided. A genuine passion for good, home-cooked food is must.

Requirements: NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care

Details: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Head of Care position, offering compassionate, person-centred residential and dementia care.

You will be leading and supporting our care team to provide the highest quality of care and leading on clinical issues. The role holds the responsibility for effective care planning and risk assessing, and you will ensure high standards of care are achieved, adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
